Los Angeles remains behind New York as the second-largest city in America, according to new estimates generated on Wednesday by Buffalo Business First, a sister publication of Los Angeles Business from bizjournals.
The Los Angeles has an estimated 12.93 million residents, falling between the New York City area, with an estimated 19.15 million residents and Chicago at 9.64 million.
Also above 5 million are Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Miami-Fort Lauderdale and Washington.
